YORAM YASUR – Comforting chicken soup.

My grandma used to say that a good chicken soup is the perfect cure to colds.

Here is one delicious easy to do soup:

Ingredients:

4 chicken thigh
1 large brown onion, halved, finely chopped
1 large carrot, peeled, finely chopped
1 celery stick, trimmed, finely chopped
2 large garlic cloves, finely chopped
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh continental parsley
stems fresh thyme, leaves picked
8 cups water
1/4 cup finely chopped
fresh continental parsley,
Extra preparation: combine chicken, onion, carrot, garlic, parsley, thyme, water in a large saucepan, medium heat. Boil.
Reduce heat, low and cook, for 40 minutes.
Add chicken.
Add salt to taste
